The Santa Barbara Tour de Cure 2013

Once again the Team rides for the benefit of persons with Diabetes everywhere.  Not wanting to be The Lone Ranger in this effort I hope to see a lot of you riding or volunteering to support the ADA.   By the way it is some of the most fun you will have, with some of the most beautiful routes in lovely Santa Barbara.  It will be earlier this year. Last year was a cold, soaking experience but still warmed by all the enthusiastic volunteers, riders and staff.  The American Diabetes Assn is committed to advancing research toward treating, curing and understanding Diabetes of all kinds.  I myself have benefited greatly from these advances after 33 years with Type 1.  I hope you all will join me. Check out the Facebook page, the Tour de Cure website or you can donate at the office.  Checks made to ADA.  I am riding with the Cottage Hospital Nurses Team.  My son Mitchell is a nurse in ICU and just received his Critical Care Nursing Certification.  I am very proud  of him.  He is captain of the team.  We need riders and volunteers who get a special shirt.  I hope to see you there on Saturday October 26 at Leadbetter Beach in Santa Barbara.
